The Consulate General of India in Bali (Indonesia) was established on 18 January 2012. It seeks to deepen the centuries-old cultural relationship between India and Eastern & Central regions of Indonesia by developing stronger people-to-people contacts through exchanges primarily in the fields of culture, education, tourism and trade & economy and investment. The Cosulate General of India in Bali has the consular jurisdiction over 15 provinces in the islands of Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua, East Kalimantan and South Kalimantan.
